Glass bottles storage instructions
2015-03-30
Dear VCG customers,
Thank you for cooperating with VCG. To keep VCG products performing at their best, here are the tips of easy storage and handling instructions provided below.
Bottle manufacturing is a process which converts the raw materials into final products through high temperature. Also, surface treatment provides 180℃or above for direct bonding into the glass and sterilize in the course of heating. Thus, bottles are clean and sterile after production.
However, the effects of oxygen, ozone, heat, humidity among other factors, can considerably affect the bottle inside condition during storage.
It is recommended that the following points be considered when storing your bottles:
•Storage areas should be kept cool, dry, dust free, and moderately ventilated.
•The temperature should be between 14 and 30 degrees Celsius.
•The optimum humidity is 40 to 65 percent.
•Ensure products are protected from contamination and physical damage.
•No solvents, fuels, lubricants or cleaning agents, or similar products, are to be stored in the same area.
•Do not store products in a deformed state, or with lateral loads, or with bending, as this can be damaging.
•Sodium absorption problem which looks like mould may happen if the bottles are stored under improper conditions or •prolonged storage. It’s easily to remove it rinsing by water blending with vinegar.
*IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE OR PROBLEMS CANNOT BE SOLVED, PLEASE CONTACT VCG AND WE WILL WORK WITH YOU TO TRY AND MINIMIZE THE HARMFUL EFFECTS.
